Welp, it’s day 2, and I’ve already bugged everything up. After writing a long post about how social media was destroying the minds of little children and making our world more self-centered, I deleted it after destroying my layout (but not before copying it to clipboard so I could post it here). Then my dad sent me something in Chinese, and I copied and pasted that into google translate, thereby completely overriding my entire prior post’s content. Does this… just happen to me? Am I the only one? (who sometimes thinks where is my brain… or “what is memory”)
Anyway, here’s my comic for today:
***RANDOM RANTINGS***: I realized that if I take a photo of something with my iPhone, then airdrop it to myself (MacBook Air), it saves as an .heic file. I’ve heard of .zip, .jpg, .jpeg, .pdf… the heck is heic. Are we so hacked that now files have to be created differently?
I just went online to an .heic to .jpg converter and downloaded it. This created another irk – what happened to that snappy grid thing that Apple used to do on their MacBooks? You know, that thing where you could invisibly divide your small 11″ screen into four square quadrants, then drag and drop your chrome into one space while you created a duplicate chrome space to watch a video while you worked using another quadrant, while the third quadrant was filled with oh-i-don’t-know emails, and the fourth quadrant was a space for files that could easily drag and drop to spaces 1, 2, or 3 without *anything* moving or wobbling or zooming in or out? Please, anyone out there know … help?
And what’s an .heic file? I really don’t want to google this as I don’t need 1000+ advertisements on heic files. ***END OF RANDOM RANTINGS***
Oh, the comic. Yes, I had this image of an ancient old oak tree come up – just the stump, and how all these trees carry ancient wisdom. Those who die and come back say that we’re all one. What’s not to believe, given our source is this Creator? People refer to the Bible as a “living” bible. You can read the same thing months later and the words will carry different weight. I’m convinced the bible helps your soul to grow.
It carries all truth from our Creator, our source. Why would you *not* want to know this? If the creator himself walked up to you and said “Hi, I’m the creator, I created all things, including you. I’m leaving you with information on how life and creation works and functions best here, these bound sheets of paper that my carefully chosen ones put together over the centuries. I orchestrated things so all would happen according to everything in here. This is how your soul can grow and have everlasting life. People will call it the “Bible”, but just think of it as my diary for you.”
If someone said that, wouldn’t you be like GIVE ME THAT RIGHT NOW??!!
Yep. So that’s what this comic summarizes. Wisdom (scripture) written upon and recorded on ancient wisdom (trees).
